Salt and Steel
Salt and Steel takes a subject usually covered in bursts and reports it at length, from the rooms where the decisions were actually made.
The result is less a history than a record: patient reporting from a region the rest of the world tends to read about only after something has gone wrong.
It moves between the official account and the street-level one, tracing how each announcement landed on the people it was announced about.
